Elaine Schroeder, 84, passed away on July 12, 2026, with Route 5 staff present by her side. Elaine resided at Route 5, IRA 5 and attended Bridge Street Day hab. She was a spunky person who loved music, singing songs and blurting out the most random phrases that would leave everyone around her laughing. Elaine exhibited a very relaxed go with the flow personality, she always enjoyed holding and shaking her ball that she listened to because of the noise that it would make. She will be deeply missed by all that had a chance to know her.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt, NY.
