Eleanor (Roach) Pryor, 91, of Baldwinsville, NY and formerly of Fulton, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. She was born and raised in Fulton, NY, the daughter of the late Glen and Susan (Meyers) Roach. Eleanor graduated from Fulton High School, class of 1951. She began working in the offices of the Nestle Chocolate factory in Fulton, NY from 1951 to 1956. Eleanor continued working as an administrative assistant, retiring after over 30 years of employment with the Armstrong Corporation in Fulton, NY. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, volunteered for the United Way and was active in the CNY Folksmarch.

Eleanor enjoyed playing cards with her friends, bowling and cross stitching. But if you wanted to see her competitive side, Scrabble was the game to play. She also will be remembered for her famous homemade chocolate chip cookies, that she loved to make for her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Eleanor is predeceased by her husband, Floyd A. Pryor in 1990, her infant son, Timothy York in 1966, her son-in-law, Richard "Rick" N. Acker in 2019, her sister, Sandra Woodridge in 2009 and her brother, Beryl Roach in 2018.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Karen A. Acker of Baldwinsville, NY; grandchildren, Erin Michelle Acker of Brooklyn, NY and twins, Jaclyn (Sam) Fuentes of Minneapolis, MN and Kelly (Chris) Jordan of Guilderland, NY; great- grandchildren, Owen, Patrick and Adele, her step children, Larry, Terry and Steven and their children, two sisters, Louise Dean of Baldwinsville, NY and Martha Hayden of Fulton, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rte. 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10:00 am in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 64 Gillespie Road, Fulton, NY 13069. Burial will follow in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, NY.
