Elliott Marshall Krackhardt, 94, passed away on September 27, 2021. He was born in Berlin, MA on August 22, 1927, to Frederick and Eula Krackhardt. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute as an electrical engineer. Elliott moved to Syracuse, NY in 1951 to work as a design engineer in the cathode ray tube department at General Electric for 36 years. He had patents approved during that time.

His family and friends will miss him very much.  He was an honest, caring gentleman who was a good husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Elliott volunteered at James Street United Methodist church and Liverpool First United Methodist church in many capacities. He was a Junior Achievement advisor. He wrote many letters for Amnesty International and to politicians on many issues. He enjoyed reading, working in his garden, theater and travelling.  Elliott is predeceased by his parents, his son Peter, his brother, Russell Krackhardt, and sister, Ruth Clark.

Elliott is survived by his wife, Shirley Moore-Krackhardt of 35 years, daughters; Debra Krackhardt, Syracuse, NY and Diane FitzGibbons, Baldwinsville, NY; his granddaughter, Brittanie (Cory) Lawson and grandson, Jonathan FitzGibbons and a great-grandson, stepchildren, James (Andrea) Moore, Julie (Mark) Ausbrooks and Joyce (Erik) Moore and step grandchildren, Tabitha (Andrew) Rosado, Cassandra Moore, Christopher Root, Nicholas Root, Lindsay Root, Phoebe (Austin) Cahoon, Lorenda (Joe) Saleem, Thressa (Mark) Bernier and 6 step great-grandchildren, sister, Marguerite Krackhardt, sisters-in-law, Barbara Krackhardt and Janet Williams, brother-in-law, Richard (Linda) Bean and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Liverpool First United Methodist Church, 604 Oswego St., Liverpool, NY with a gathering at 10:00 am and the service to follow at 10:30 am.
