Emma L. (Baker) Male, 92, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024. She was born in Syracuse, NY on January 10, 1932 the daughter of the late Floyd and Della (Hare) Baker. Emma was a voracious reader and enjoyed doing any type of puzzle, especially crossword puzzles.

Emma is predeceased by her husband, William Male; her parents and eight siblings.

Surviving to cherish Emma's memory are her five children, Della Myers of VA, Leo (Brenda) Schroeder of North Syracuse, NY, Tommy (Dori) Schroeder of East Syracuse, NY, Cherylann Baker of NC and Kathleen (Don) Baker of Clay, NY; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088 with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
