Ernestt "Ernie" C. Henderson, 57, of Liverpool, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024.  He was born December 5, 1966 to LaVerne & Doretta Henderson.  Ernie worked as a Customer Service Representative for POMCO Insurance Co. for 11 years.  He was a graduate of Liverpool High School, Class of '85, attended Onondaga Community College, and a member of Northside Baptist Church. Ernie enjoyed working with the kids in the community, coaching Pop Warner football in Phoenix, NY, and baseball.  He was a big fan of Syracuse University sports, New York Giants football & the New York Yankees.

He had a great passion for playing drums and his favorite band was "KISS".  He also enjoyed going to garage sales, and flea markets with his brother Fran, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, LaVerne and Doretta Henderson and a brother, Michael Henderson.

He is survived by his brother, Francis J. (Stephanie Doty) Henderson of Clay, his 3 nephews; Tim (Sarah) Henderson, Adam (Jes) Henderson and Jeremy (Danielle) Henderson, his niece, Mary (Mike Northup) Wilder and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm.  Burial will be private in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
