Francis (Frank) P. Costello, Jr., 75, of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully at home on January 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Born on January 3, 1950, Frank was the son of the late Francis Sr. and Agnes (Andrews) Costello, and was predeceased by his siblings, Jean Mullins, Jimmy Costello, and Michael Costello.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Gail (Cotnoir) Costello; children, Frankie Costello III, Kevin Costello, Kelly (Todd) Costello, Jim (Sarah) Costello, and Brad Costello; siblings, Kathy LaFleur, Patty Chamberlin, Joan Anderson, and Bobby Costello; his seven cherished grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved deeply.
Frank (a native of Warwick, RI), proudly served in the United States Navy and went on to earn an Associate's degree from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. He enjoyed a long and successful career in the brewing industry (Narragansett, Schlitz, and Anheuser-Busch Breweries) where he was known for his hard work and dedication.
He was a member of the Elks Club and a proud union member of the Teamsters. Frank was always ready to lend a helping hand while taking great joy in organizing golf tournaments and fundraising events, showing the leadership and generosity that defined his character.
Known for his quick wit, storytelling abilities, and infectious personality, Frank was truly the life of any party. He had an unparalleled work ethic and always put his family and friends first. Frank loved all teams Boston, long road trips, the ocean, and his home in Florida. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, a proud father, grandfather, and a cherished friend. Frank will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
Calling hours will be Monday, January 20, 2025 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 11:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY. The Rite of Committal and burial with Military Honors will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Frank's memory to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
