Francis "Frank" H. Houde, 82, formerly of Liverpool, NY and currently residing in Fountain Inn, SC, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Frank was born in Elmira, NY, and as a child came to the Syracuse area. After graduating from North High School, Class of 1958, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, proudly serving his country. In 1966, he was united in marriage to the former Cynthia L. Bressette, a blessed union of 57 years. Frank enjoyed a 32-year career as a Communication Technician with AT&T in Syracuse, NY, retiring in 1998. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting. Frank was a volunteer with the American Red Cross as a shelter coordinator and the Moyers Corners Fire Department. He is predeceased by two sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Gosselin and Susanne DeCarlo and two brothers, Edward and Michael Houde.

Surviving is his beloved wife, Cynthia L. Houde of Fountain Inn, SC, two sons, Marc (Jennifer) Houde of Fountain Inn, SC and Eric (Kristin) Houde of Liverpool, NY, his daughter, Kim L. A. (Richard) Girard of Baldwinsville, NY, 6 grandchildren; Kai, Edison, Emma, Annabelle, Iain and Rylie, brother, Joseph (Patricia) Brandt of Syracuse, NY, two sisters, Mary (Bruce) Ellsworth of Lyncourt, NY and Roberta (Dennis) Ellsworth of Mattydale, NY, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
