Francis “Frank” J. Hueber, 69, left this world on Sunday, April 19, after a short illness. Frank was a lifelong Syracuse resident and graduate of Cicero High School and SUNY Oswego. He worked in the construction industry serving for many years as President of Bilcon’s, Inc., an area hardware subcontracting business.

He loved animals and the great outdoors. Frank was happiest hunting or fishing or playing with his treasured Akita dogs, Kuma and Thor. He will be missed.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Anne H. and Donald F. Hueber, and his sisters, Kathleen Hueber Reid and Mary Karen Hueber.

Frank is survived by his sister, Anne Hueber Messner (James); brother-in-law, C. Thomas Reid; nieces, Jennifer Reid Burnett (Douglas), Kristine Reid Lee (Michael), Katherine Reid Williams, Emily Messner Zuluaga (Carlos), and nephew, Ryan Messner (Jennifer), along with many beloved cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when it is possible for family and friends to gather in his memory. Arrangements were held under the direction of Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. Liverpool, NY.
