Gary George Yager, 74, formerly of Liverpool, went home to be with the Lord for eternal life on August 2, 2026.

Gary was a graduate of Liverpool High School, Class of 69, SUNY at Oswego, and Career Academy in Washington, D.C. He worked as a salesman for Campbell Soup Company for 30 years. Upon retirement, he was president of the Elizabeth Klein Foundation, a Christian based foundation.

He loved to travel. He went on trips all over the USA with his brother and friends. He loved SU basketball, the New York Yankees and snowmobiling in Canada and Yellowstone with his brother, Terry.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Arlene Yager.

Surviving to cherish Gary’s memory are his brother, Terry (Lucretia) Yager and several cousins.

A heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Arden Courts of Tampa for the exceptional care he received while there.

Funeral service will be private. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 12:30 pm in Woodlawn Cemetery, 800 Grant Blvd., Syracuse, NY 13203.
