George "Herb" Coddington, Jr., 91, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Born in Syracuse, Herb was raised in Constantia, NY.  He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and graduated from Syracuse University in 1956. Herb retired in 1993 as an Electrical Engineer after 32 years with General Electric.  He was a Mason for 70 years in the Fort Brewerton Lodge where he was a past Master.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Genevieve "Jeanne" (Culkin) Coddington of 69 years; a daughter, Kathryn (Claudio) Pantaleo of Marcellus, NY; two sons, William (Jeanne) Coddington of St. Petersburg, FL and Herbert Coddington of San Quentin, CA; a sister, Jeann (Scott) Whittaker of Central Square, NY; two brothers, Jerry (Linda) Willis of Brewerton, NY and Jack (Nancy) Willis of Atascadero, CA; a grandson, Zachary Pantaleo and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday, September 12, 2022 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.  Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, NY. Contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Food Pantry, 3494 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
