George D. Elsbree, 71, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.  George was born on April 25, 1950 in Syracuse, NY.  George was a graduate of ESM High School and SUNY Canton.  He served in the US Navy from 1969 to 1973, before starting his career at Lockheed Martin where he worked as an HVAC Technician for over 30 years. George was a free spirit who loved his family wholeheartedly and was never afraid to show it.  He was passionate about many things and loved to express his freedom through his writing and long journeys on his motorcycle.  George is predeceased by his parents, George H. & Hilda Elsbree, stepmother, Roseann Bronner and his sister, Sally Russell.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Melissa Elsbree and Alexander (Kaylie) Elsbree, two grandchildren, Dominick Elsbree and Alexander Elsbree, Jr, his half-brother, Roger (LeeAnn) Williams, and his former wife, Christine M. Elsbree.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
