George J. Evans, 84, of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Monday August 3, 2026. George retired from the Syracuse Glass Company, was a longtime fan of Syracuse baseball, and enjoyed his breakfast out at the B’Ville Diner. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren building his model railroad city.

He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Mary Evans and his brother, Robert Evans.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years, Laura (Mazza) Evans, his daughters, Michelle Vann and Amy (Eric) Hovater, grandchildren, Catherine, Jessica, Jayson, Cameron, Ryan, sisters, Rosemary (Tim) White, Nancy Yates, sister-in-law, Marge Evans, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
