George F. Snyder, 67, of Liverpool, passed away on April 4, 2022.  He was born in Syracuse to George and G. Muriel Snyder. George received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Syracuse University and taught Spanish and French for 34 years before retiring in 2018.

George was predeceased by his mother, G. Muriel Snyder; brother, Paul R. Snyder, and his father, George Snyder.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers; David (Kim) Snyder of Liverpool, and Daniel (Lisa) Snyder of North Syracuse; sisters; Nancy Hammond of Barre, VT, Carol (Richard) Kaiser of Liverpool, and Robin (Michael) Ortega of South Pasadena, CA as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A calling hour will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery and Mausoleum, DeWitt, NY.

Face masks are required for those attending George's services.
