George E. Thompson, 86, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Crouse Hospital.  George retired from U.S. Airways where he worked as a Customer Service Agent for 40 years.  He was a graduate of St. Anthony of Padua High School in Syracuse and attended Syracuse University.  George enjoyed golfing, traveling, playing pitch, daily walks, Syracuse University sports, and most of all spending time with his loving family and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, George and Helen Thompson and his son, Scott M. Thompson.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Elaine (Firlit) Thompson, son, Geoffrey (Kim) Thompson, sister, Anne Small, grandchildren, Emily, Scott, Jake Thompson, and several nieces & nephews.

Services will be private.
