Geraldine "Gerry" Foil, 88, of Liverpool passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from complications of COVID at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.  Gerry retired as Tax Assessor from the Town of Van Buren after many years of service. She was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clay, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Foil, her parents, Leon and Myra (Brockett) Scriber, sister, Verna Hughson, and brother, Alvin Scriber.

Surviving is a daughter, Sandra S. (David) Fleming of Clay, her grandson, Matthew J. Fleming (Kassey Owens) of Clay, her great-granddaughter, Aubree Owens of Clay, her sister, Jeanne Sharp of Liverpool, many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
