Geraldine "Gerry" L. Burns, 93, of Liverpool, NY, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Crouse Hospital.  Gerry was born and raised in the Syracuse Area.  She was the daughter of Thelma McCue and Edward Lee.    She worked as an Executive Secretary at various places including, Syracuse Symphony and General Electric.  She was an excellent baker, winning many ribbons at the State Fair.  She was an avid bridge player and belonged to several Bridge Clubs.  Gerry enjoyed travel both domestic and foreign.  She loved gardening and had beautiful gardens all summer long.

Gerry is predeceased by her son, Thomas in 1978 and her husband and best friend George R. Burns in 2009.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Rick Burns of Vermont and Amy Burns of Liverpool, NY.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.  Immediately following the calling hours a funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm.
