Heather (Sweet) Boyce, 41, formerly of Liverpool, passed away unexpectantly Friday, April 4, 2025 at her home in Oneonta, NY.   Heather was a longtime resident of Liverpool, NY.  She was a graduate of Liverpool High School, Class of 2001, then attended SUNY of Oswego where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  She then went on to receive her Masters from Walden University.

Heather taught for the Prince George County Public School District for 13 years then for the past 10 years she went on to teach for the Lauren School District.

She also worked as an independent consultant for Thirty-One gifts.  She was very active with the Girl Scouts of America, was an avid reader involved in many book clubs, loved antiques, music, all types of movies and theater, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Allison and Connor Boyce, her parents, Milton and Joyce Sweet of Liverpool, sisters, Amanda (Charles) Sweet-Shyne and Emily Rinaldo, her close friend, Thomas Hanford, two nieces, Evelynn and Rosaliegh Shyne, several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool, NY 13090.
