Helen Mary Yudin (Romanowski), 93, of Liverpool, NY and Stuart, FL passed peacefully into the loving arms of God surrounded by her family at her home in Liverpool on September 27, 2022.

Helen adored her family, and they always came first. She loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as sending birthday greetings to family members every year. More recently, she took great pleasure looking at photos of what she said was "her beautiful family." Helen was born on September 17, 1929 in Binghamton, New York in a part of town she called "Polish heaven." She graduated at the age of 16 from Johnson City High School. As a young woman she worked as an executive secretary for IBM Corp. in Endicott and then for GE Corp when she and her sweetheart, Robert, were married and moved to Syracuse in 1960. She enjoyed baking, traveling, golfing, polka dancing, watching baseball, and doing anything that involved her family, even if that meant tent camping. For the past thirty years Helen and Robert divided their time between Liverpool and in Stuart, FL as snowbirds. She lived a good long life, spoke her mind, and had a generous, giving heart.

Helen's love for her family was surpassed only by her love for the Lord. Until she was no longer able, she attended Mass daily at Christ the King Church in Liverpool and at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, FL. She was a true disciple of Christ. Whenever someone took leave from her, Helen's goodbye was always "Idź z Bogiem" (Go with God).

The last surviving member of a large and close-knit family, she will be reunited in heaven with her parents Stanley and Frances Romanowski, her dear brothers; Walter, Stanley, Chester, Walter, Edward, Milton, Henry, and Casimir, and her beloved sisters; Sophie, Genevieve "Jane" Massar, Edna, and Florence.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Yudin, and by her loving family, sons; John Yudin (Patricia) of Stuart, FL and Thomas Yudin (Jodi) of Liverpool, NY, daughter, Mary Yudin (Cesar Perez) of Stuart, FL,  granddaughters; Kari Lynn and Katie Yudin; Lara, Lauren, and Leighann Yudin and Sofia and Ana Perez Yudin, grandsons; Robby Yudin and Cesar Perez Yudin; sisters-in-law; Judith Romanowski, Nancy Crounse, Johann Roberts, and Judith Frey, brother-in-law Marv Frey; and many special nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Joseph Hospital in Syracuse for their loving care.

The family will receive guests at 10:30 am on Monday, October 3, 2022 in Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool, NY 13090, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
