Irene B. Korthas, 100, of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 28, 2023 at Iroquois Nursing Home.  Irene retired from Bristol Myers after 15 years of service.  She loved traveling with family & friends & camping with her husband in Canada & Noto's Green Acres on Lake Ontario.  She loved her bingo, was very athletic, enjoyed bowling, golf and horseshoes where she won the NYS Championship in 1958.

She is predeceased by her husband, Charles W. Korthas, Jr. of 72 years.

Irene is survived by her son, Charles W. (Patricia) Korthas III and daughter, Joyce Korthas Jordan, grandchildren; Renee Lathrop, Deanna (Melvin) Moosbrugger, Michael (Rebecca) Schardt, Kerry (Scott) Sullivan, Charles W. (Stephanie) Korthas IV, 9 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, her sister, Mary Prosser and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be held in the spring.
