James A. D'Imperio, 85, of Oswego, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023.  James was a general contractor specializing in home construction for 30 years.  For 25 years he worked for the Camperlino & Fatti Buildings.  He was a graduate of SUNY at Delhi where he received his Bachelor's Degree then went on earn his Master's Degree from Michigan State.  For many years he was active with the Cub Scouts of America.

He is predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Margo (Fleck) D'Imperio, parents Nicholas and Eva (Johnson) D'Imperio, daughter Eva Marie (D'Imperio) Gannon, sister Mary (D'Imperio) Wells and brother Nicholas D'Imperio.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his children; Gregory (Joyce) D'Imperio of Pittsford, NY, Tracy (Chris) Moriarty of Texas, James (Michelle) D'Imperio of Minoa, NY, Dominic (Christine) D'Imperio of Dewitt, NY, David (Andrea) D'Imperio of Lombard, IL, Katherine (Kevin) Barber of Liverpool, NY, Nicholas (Kristen) D'Imperio of Minoa, NY, and Kimberly (Barbara) Cruz of Yakima, WA, sister, Constance (D'Imperio) Doback of Sunrise, FL and brother, Doug Hobbs of Rochester.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tappan Street, in Baldwinsville, NY. 13027.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in James D'Imperio's memory may be made to Friends Forever Animal Rescue, 174 Gristwood Road, Pennellville, NY 13132.
