Jane A. Luce Myers

Jane A. (Roberts) Luce Myers, 88, of Clay, NY passed away on Saturday at home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Oswego, NY to the late Phillip and Genevieve (Babcock) Roberts. Jane graduated from North Syracuse High School. Jane was truly dedicated to her family and community. A mother of 5, grandma of 11 and great-grandma of 25, she was the matriarch of the family, loving all of them. Jane was the secretary for over 29 years for the Bowling Green Ladies League. She was an active member and volunteer at the Liverpool Elks BPOE # 2348, serving as past secretary and a 25 year member and of the Liverpool Elks Ladies Auxiliary for over 60 years, serving as Chaplain. Jane ran many senior trips across the United States and was a member of St. Joseph’s Seniors. She loved all sports, especially the New York Yankees and Syracuse University. Jane loved spending time at camp, birdwatching and enjoying the outdoors. She was also an avid seamstress and neighborhood tailor. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by both of her husbands, Richard A. Luce and William H. Myers and her grandson, John S. Luce, Jr.

Surviving are her children, Jeffrey (Cathy) Luce of Clay, NY, John (Tricia) Luce of Murrells Inlet, SC, Jill (Angelo) Bartorillo of Cicero, NY, Janis Luce and partner Christine Hill of Baldwinsville, NY, Joel (Sherri) Myers of Highpoint, NC, 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren her sister, Elinor Teska of Winter Springs, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. An Elk’s service will be held at 7:45 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 10:30 am at the funeral home with the Rite of Committal and burial to follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
