Janet E. (Hurley) Gapski, 87, native and life resident of Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was a devoted mother to her family and a communicant of Pope John XXIII Roman Catholic Church.  Janet is predeceased by her husband, Francis Gapski, and her brother, Arnold Hurley.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her son, Mark Gapski of Norwalk, CT; two daughters, Patricia Silvia of Liverpool and Christine Gapski of North Syracuse; three sisters, Carol Schneider of Kirkville, Linda Wickert of Clay, and Sandra Rose of Dewitt, NY; grandsons, Joseph (Jill) Silvia of Farmington, CT, Justin Silvia of Liverpool, two great grandchildren, Luke and Grace and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:00 am in Pope John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 8290 Soule Road, Liverpool, NY 13090, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am.  The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
