Janet E. Niedzwecki, 89, of Liverpool passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025.  Janet was born in Fabius, NY to Wallace and Edith (Craft) Beardsley.  She graduated from Tully High School and later worked for Grand Union Markets and BJ'S Wholesale Club.  She lived in Syracuse, New Hartford and later settled in Liverpool, NY.

Janet found joy in going on long walks, gardening, spending time with her family, caring for dogs and was an avid SU Basketball fan.  Her love of nature and animals reflected her nurturing spirit and brought happiness to those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Janet is predeceased by her father and mother, Wallace Beardsley and Edith (Craft) Beardsley; her brother, William Beardsley and sister, Mary Lou Peck.

She is survived by her sister, Linda Kogut of Tully, NY; brother, Edward (Kathleen) Beardsley of Homer, NY; her children, Nancy Filtz of San Diego, CA, Cheryl (Mark) Stasko of Cicero, Joseph (Carol) Niedzwecki of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Stephen (Meghan) Stasko of Cicero, Shelley Stasko of NYC, Dustin Filtz of Denver, Carly Filtz of San Diego,  Brian Niedzwecki of Baldwinsville, Timothy Niedzwecki of Charlotte, Kevin Niedzwecki of Baldwinsville and her great-grandchildren, Austin Anderson-Stasko, Jack Stasko and Matthew Stasko.

Services will be private.
