Obituary

Jean L. Falk, 90, of Liverpool passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. She was born in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Jean retired in 2001 from the Arthritis Foundation as an Executive Secretary. She was a communicant and active parishioner of Christ the King Church in Liverpool.  Jean spent her final years at The Hearth at Greenpoint and finally St. Camillus Rehab Center. She was always revered by all who met her for her positive attitude and selfless kindness. She was happiest when she was tending to the needs of others. Jean lived her life making others happy, which was apparent through the many volunteer activities in which she was involved.

Through the years Jean opened her heart and home, especially her kitchen, to anyone and everyone who passed through her life. She had a unique way of making those around her feel important and loved.  She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, E. William Falk who died in 2002.

The family would like to acknowledge the staff at St. Camillus for their compassionate care in her final days. They would also like to extend their gratitude to her roommate, Shearl, whom she grew to love and lean on for support in their short time together (Thelma and Louise).

As Jean would always say "Remember, a smile goes a long way."

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters; Margaret (William) Crandall of McCordsville, IN and Marianne (Steve) Mooney of Syracuse, NY; two sons, William (Trudi) Falk of Chicago, IL and James (Lori) Falk of Ft. Myers, FL; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
