Jeffrey "Bub" Scott Kent, 64, of Elbridge, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at his brother's home in Baldwinsville. Born in Syracuse, NY, Jeff was raised in Baldwinsville, NY, graduating from C.W. Baker High School, Class of 1978, He completed his studies at Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. Jeff worked in the Maintenance Department at the Syracuse Home for 17 years and the last 6 years as a Custodian, retiring from the Baldwinsville Central School District. Jeff loved the outdoors, spending time with family and friends. He loved animals, especially his dogs. Jeff also enjoyed eating, never passing on a good meal, with his favorite part to come, DESSERT. He loved any and all sorts of sweets. He is predeceased by his father, Allen J. Emm, Sr. and his grandparents, Minnie and Harold Pratt.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his mother, Shirley E. Emm, his sister, Darlene (Duane Bort) Emm, his three brothers; Arthur (Nia) Emm, AJ (Colleen) Emm, Jr. and Daryl Emm, two aunts, Marilyn Griffis and Brenda Smith, seven nieces; Amanda, Kasey, Madison, Brooke, Aurora, Sheilynn and Adilynn,11 nephews; Jon, Allen, Michael, Josh, Jamie, Zachary, Jacob, Trevor, Logan, Ethan, Blake and Liam and several cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with a reception immediately to follow at the Belgium Cold Springs Fire Department, 7920 River Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
