Jeffrey Robert Lindner, age 66, of Syracuse, NY, lost his courageous battle with ALS on September 10, 2022.  Jeff was the eldest son, born on February 6, 1956 to Lee and Mary Jane Lindner.  Jeff graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School in 1974, attended Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL, and worked 30 years in the automobile industry.  Jeff enjoyed golfing, spending time by lakes and beaches, listening to live music and being with his daughters, family and friends. In fact, he was able to spend his last remaining good days with his daughters, grandchildren and other family members enjoying some beautiful summer weather at Green Lakes State Park and other local places.

He was formerly married to Susan (Laroway) Becker, the mother of his children.  His sister-in-law, Donna (Farden) Lindner took on the difficult role as his advocate and caregiver after he was diagnosed with ALS.  Donna made sure Jeff was as comfortable and as happy as possible.  The Lindner family is forever grateful for her and many other amazing family and friends who assisted him as this disease progressed.

Jeff leaves behind his two daughters; Sarah (Josh) Chance of Nashville, TN and Megan (Russell) Lindner Diedrich of Denver, CO, his grandchildren; Aiden and Charlotte Chance, his brothers; Lance Lindner, Timothy (Marlene Piccolo) Lindner, and his nieces and nephew.

Jeff is now reunited with his family members and friends in Heaven and is shining down all of those he loved.  A celebration of life will be made at the convenience of his family.
