Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family of Jennifer A. Holman announce her passing on August 13, 2026. Born on December 10, 1964 in Syracuse, New York, Jennifer lived a life of passionate service to others.

Jennifer was known for her warmth, bright spirit, and genuine desire to help others. She worked as an EMT and homeless outreach case manager with the Rescue Mission, and later as a family worker with PEACE, Inc., where she spent many years supporting individuals and families throughout the Syracuse community. In recent years, Jennifer found another meaningful way to serve through the Baldwinsville Rotary Club, dedicating countless hours to the Membership Committee and helping coordinate events that advanced Rotary’s mission. In all she did, Jennifer lived by their motto, “Service Above Self,” always putting others first and making a lasting difference in the lives of those she touched.

Jennifer loved to travel, listen to music, and spend time with the people she loved most. She treasured every opportunity to gather her family and friends and create memories that would last a lifetime. Her summer home in Cape Vincent on the beautiful St. Lawrence River was especially dear to her heart, where she enjoyed relaxing summer days. A wonderful cook and gracious host, Jennifer loved preparing meals, planning parties, and creating special memories around the table. Jennifer is predeceased by her father, Edward Butler Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley Holman; children, Alexander (Paige) Langdon and Nicholas Langdon; grandson, James Thomas Langdon; mother, Paula Hoffman; sister, Elva Greene; niece, Aubrey; nephews, Aidan and Caleb; stepchildren, Ryan (Kristen) Holman and Marc Holman.

Services will be held on October 10, 2026 at a time to be determined.
