It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerome (Ja) Lindberg, Jr., who left us on Monday, May 5, 2025 at the age of 47. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend to all and will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ja was born in Syracuse, NY and attended Fayetteville Manlius High School and Buffalo State University. Ja lived a life filled with solid values, passions for music and radio work, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Ja dedicated his life to community involvement and family, whether it was through his work or acts of kindness, he touched many hearts and inspired those around him.

Ja is survived by his parents, Jerome and Sharon (Wellington) Lindberg, Sr.; as well as siblings, Kristin Toth of Cummings, GA and Scott Lindberg of South Hero, VT; aunts and uncles, James (Mary) Lindberg of VA, Jon (Christie) Lindberg of VA, Daniel (Deborah) Wellington of Macedon, NY, David and Mary (Wellington) DePentu of Oswego, NY, and Thomas Wellington of Oswego, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Though we mourn Ja's passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life he led. His legacy lives on in the love shared, the wisdom imparted, and the joy he brought to all.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
