Jill L. Spado, 62, of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Saturday at Crouse Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her husband and children. She was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter to the late Vernon and Doris (Enterline) Lamison.

Jill graduated from Liverpool High School in 1981 and then attended SUNY Plattsburgh and Onondaga Community College. She enjoyed her 38-year career as a Pediatric and NICU Nurse at Crouse Hospital, desperately wanting to recover and be well enough to get back to work.

On June 8, 1990, Jill was united in marriage to Michael J. Spado, a blessed union of 35 years. Jill had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Family was the center of Jill's life, a loving wife and mother. She was the heartbeat of her family, keeping everyone connected, even during her illness. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her father-in-law, Joseph A. Spado.

She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Spado, her children; Cory L. (Chelsea) Spado of Valencia, CA and Kylie H. Spado of Baltimore, MD, two brothers, Jeffrey (Helen) Lamison of Boca Raton, FL and Timothy (Kathryn) Lamison of Liverpool, NY, mother-in-law, Mary Spado of Liverpool, NY, many nieces, a nephew, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and her beloved dog and walking partner, Sully.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:30 am in Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle, Liverpool, NY 13090. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
