John E. Cruskie, 61, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at home with his partner Shawn at his side, after a long illness. He was born in New Hartford, NY where he was raised and educated. John graduated from New Hartford High School and continued his education receiving Bachelor's degrees from Hamilton College and Syracuse University. He was currently employed with World Fuel Services in Parish, NY. Throughout his life, John will be remembered for his hard work ethic. He is predeceased by his uncle, Andrew Chruscicki.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his partner, Shawn A. Geffert of Baldwinsville, NY, his parents, Joseph and Molly (Stauffer) Cruskie of New Hartford, NY, grandson, Ronan, brother, Paul (Dale) Cruskie of Herkimer, NY, two sisters, Catherine Eckmair of Merrimack, NH and Ann Jachim of Reston, VA, his uncle, Dr. Robert (Sylvia) Chruscicki of Utica, NY, his aunt Mary Rose Schneider of Fort Myers FL and three nephews, Erik, Adam and Jeremy.

Per John's request, there will be no formal services held.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, Baldwinsville, NY.
