John Archie Kennedy, 73, of Liverpool passed away at home on July, 28, 2021.  Born to the late John and Alice Kennedy in Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada, he had been a resident of Liverpool for 40 years.  John worked as the District Manager of Loss Prevention for Kmart, a position he retired from after 33 years of faithful service.

For 23 years, he proudly served as a firefighter with the Moyers Corner Fire Department, while also working as an Intermediate EMT with the former Moyers Corners Ambulance, now known as NOVA Ambulance.  In his free time, he enjoyed photography, playing racket ball, and was a gymnast during high school.

John was an avid outdoorsman and nature lover, where he could be found hunting, camping, fishing (including making his own fishing rods), as well as rescuing several animals, throughout the years.

John is survived by his loving daughter, Lindsey Kennedy; sister, Judi (Joseph) Kennedy-Rizzo; brother, Jim Kennedy; sister, Janice Kennedy; several nieces and nephews, as well as the mother of his daughter, Brenda Kennedy.

A celebration of John's life will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, August 21 at the Wetzel Road Church of Christ, 4268 Wetzel Road., Liverpool, NY 13090.
