John M. Nice's Obituary
John M. Nice, 48, of Baldwinsville passed away on Wednesday May 30, 2012 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Wellsboro, PA and was a 1987 graduate of SUNY Binghamton. John started his career at Coopers & Lybrand as a CPA and for the last 14 years he was the Executive Director with Hiscock & Barclay, LLC. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
John is survived by his Wife, Dina Kuruc Nice of 18 years; two daughters, Maddie and Katie Nice of Baldwinsville; parents, Mike and Mary (Chiodo) Nice of Kennett Square, PA; a sister, Sue (Donny) Kuon of Landenberg, PA; brothers, Bill (Jen) Nice of East Syracuse and Rick (Joanna) Nice of Collegeville, PA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Dianne Kuruc of Cleverdale, NY; sister-in-law, Lisa (Dean) Humphreys of Liverpool; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY.
Calling hours will be Friday, June 1, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for Pancreatic Cancer Research. John's family would like to thank Dr. Jonathan Wright and his nurse Stephanie for their compassionate care and support.
