Jonathan C. Williams, 50, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday. He was born in Syracuse the son of Catherine (Kessler) Williams and the late Ronald Williams. Jon shared a blessed union of 21 years with the former Jennifer L. Kuhn. For the past 18 years, they have lived in Baldwinsville. He was the owner and operator of Fire Pit BBQ & Saloon, which had recently opened in Fulton, NY.

Jon touched the lives of many people with his love and support. He was an incredible father, coach and friend. He created large communities within the youth football and softball organizations, as well as the food service industry. Jon was also instrumental in running the "Give it back to the kids" nonprofit organization, creating opportunities for kids through sports programs in CNY.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer L. Williams, his children, Caitlyn and Robert Williams, his mother, Catherine Williams, four brothers; Robert (Lisa) Liberatore, Andy (Nichole) Williams, Brian Williams, Steve Williams, his sister, Susan Williams, four nieces and 5 nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Private services and burial will take place in North Syracuse Cemetery.
