Joseph P. Britt, Sr., of Pennellville, NY passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Joe was born on March 18, 1943 in Syracuse, NY.  He graduated from West Genesse High School, attended Morrisville Community College and received his Associate Degree from Onondaga Community College.  Joe was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was an active member at the American Legion.  He retired after working 33 years with Niagara Mohawk.  He enjoyed spending winters in Myrtle Beach. Joe was an avid golfer, classic car enthusiast and served as President of the Six Nation Pontiac Club for 3 years.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Jean; daughter, Deborah; two sons, Joseph, Jr. and Dennis; five grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth (Peter) Stewart and brother, Richard (Sheila) Britt.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027. The Rite of Committal and inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, Dewitt, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joseph's memory to Clear Path for Veterans, 1223 Salt Springs Road, Chittenango, NY 13037.
