Joseph E. Greco, 79, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025.  Joseph was born in Syracuse, NY.  He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and Syracuse University where he earned an MBA in Finance.  During his college days he worked for Wells & Coverly.  After graduating he went on to start his career on Wall Street working in NYC.  He returned to Syracuse where he worked for CIGNA, then transferred to Hartford, CT where he lived and worked for AETNA for many years.  He then retired and returned back to Syracuse in 2021.  Joe was a lover of art and good design.  He was a smart dresser and as a shopper he could always spot a great deal.

He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Muriel Greco and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Ann Greco and Robert and Barbara Greco and brother-in-law, Paul Molini

Surviving to cherish his memory are his sisters, Shirley Molini and Jeanne Greco of Liverpool, brother, John D. Greco of Winston Salem, NC, and many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 259 East Onondaga Street, Syracuse, NY 13202, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am.  The Rite of Committal and Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt, NY.
