Joseph F. Grosso, 69, of Liverpool, formerly of Eastwood, passed away peacefully on Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Joseph F. and Mildred (Leggett) Grosso. After graduating from Lemoyne College with a degree in accounting, he managed Sunrise Tomato Company at the Regional Market for many years. After the company closed, he found a second career as a teaching assistant in the Liverpool Central School District, finding great joy working with special needs students. Joe loved boating and fishing, SU sports, wine and beer tasting, Scotsmans Bridge and spending time with his family. Anyone who knew him understood how deeply he cared for his family, friends and co-workers. Joe was a member of Liverpool First United Methodist Church. He is predeceased by his sister, Patricia Burton.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Robin (Mack) Grosso, his children, Lindsay (Brad) Fletcher and Joseph R. Grosso and his brother, Anthony (Deborah) Grosso. Many others feel they've lost a brother or a Favorite Uncle Joe.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Liverpool First United Methodist Church, 604 Oswego Street, Liverpool, NY 13088, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm.
