Joseph "Joe" E. Storie, 63, of Baldwinsville passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital.  Born in Syracuse to the late Robert and Veronica Storie, he had retired from the Laborer's Local 633 after more than 25 years of service.

He enjoyed "tinkering" on several projects around his home.  One of his larger projects was his home which once stood on the property of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Joe had it moved in sections to its present location.  He was a faithful parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, dedicating much of his free time volunteering at his church.

In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his wife, Mary, in 2004.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his siblings; Catherine (Thomas) Maugeri, Robert (Christine) Storie, Greg (Dolores) Storie, Mary (Timothy) Castle, Charles Storie and Christopher (Carla) Storie, nieces and nephews; Amy Siebert, Jeffrey Richardson, Evan Maugeri, Elyse Maugeri, Matthew Storie, Meghan Storie, Maggie Rasmussen, Ben Storie, Sarah Castle, Josh Castle, Tina Johnson, Nicole Storie, Logan Zenkel, Robert Storie, Christopher Storie and Michael Storie, great-nieces and great-nephews; Jessica Siebert, Alexandra Siebert, Samantha Siebert, Martin Richardson, Payton Richardson, Reed Rasmussen, Jude Rasmussen, Aryanna Parise, Aiden Castle-Hackett , Emma Johnson, Isaac Parrotte and Harper Storie, Landon Zenkel, Bella Storie and Theo Storie.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Maurer Funeral Home, Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 29 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
