September 4, 1943 – September 19, 2024
Judith A. Schleicher, 81, of Baldwinsville, passed away on September 19, 2024, at Crouse Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Judy devoted her life to her family. She and her husband, Roger, moved to Manlius in 1986 and spent the last decade in Baldwinsville. Family meant everything to her; she cherished every moment with her son, Scott (Jamie), her daughter, Katie (Brian) and her four beloved grandchildren, Ryan, Lily, Parker, and Emerson. The time they shared brought her immense joy, and she treasured those memories. Judy also valued the companionship of her faithful Shih-Tzu, Snuggly.
Judy had a fulfilling career as a childcare provider, real estate agent and most recently administrator at Re/Max Realty Plus, retiring in 2023. She found joy in family vacations, particularly at her beloved spots in Ocean City, Maryland, and Lake George, NY, where she spent countless hours on the beach and lake. She had a passion for exploring new restaurants with her family, with seafood being her absolute favorite. In her spare time, Judy loved gardening and enjoyed cooking for family and friends, creating meals that brought everyone together.
Judy is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Roger, and her sister, Shirley Miller.
Judith is survived by her children, Scott (Jamie) Schleicher of Liverpool and Katie (Brian) Cullen of Wallingford, CT; her grandchildren, Ryan and Lily Schleicher and Parker and Emerson Cullen, her brothers, Larry Lyon (late Lois) and Richard (Desiree Barry) Lyon, niece, Jennifer Olmstead (Al Broadbent), nephew Bruce Miller (Liz), along with several other nieces and nephews.
