Justin "Tibby" M. Tobias, 39, of Liverpool, NY passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, surrounded by family after a sudden health crisis, meeting it with the same courage and resilience that defined his life.

Justin was born in Hilo, Hawaii on May 15, 1986.  He moved to Liverpool in June of that year when his family relocated to New York.  He graduated from Liverpool High School and went on to get an associate's degree from OCC in 2009.

As a survivor of childhood cancer, Justin faced many challenges in life but met them all head on with his wry sense of humor.  He was a camper and later a volunteer at Camp Good Days and Special Times where he made many lifelong friends.  He worked part-time at Price Chopper and more recently at Lowes.  Justin enjoyed playing video games, pinball, cards and watching action movies.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.  Justin is predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents as well as a paternal uncle.

He is survived by his parents, Tim and Lori Tobias of Palm Bay, FL, his brothers, Jeremy Tobias of Liverpool, NY and Chris (Hillery) Tobias of Wasilla, AK, his sister, Alyssa (Alex D'amore) of Clay, NY, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

While Justin's passing leaves an immeasurable hole in our hearts that will never be able to be filled, we know that he is free of pain and restrictions and able to do the things he loves again.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rte. 31 Baldwinsville, NY, with funeral services to follow at 6:00 pm.
