Kathy Jean Roy

Kathy Jean Roy, 67, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at NYU Langone Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Donald J. and Loa June (Bowles) Roy. Kathy graduated from Liverpool High School and attended Onondaga Community College. She started her career at Fay’s Drugs, later becoming Eckerd, and retired after 45 years from Rite Aid as a Transportation Manager. Throughout her life, Kathy was truly a caretaker. She was the coordinator of the family and loved planning special events or family sleepovers. Kathy was always willing to help anyone in need and enjoyed making others happy. She was an avid NY Yankees and UConn Women’s basketball team fan and liked reading, swimming and baking. Most importantly she cherished time spent with her nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her beloved six sisters, Lori Roy of Newark, OH, Beverly Roy and Kelly Roy both of Fayetteville, NY, Stacey Temple of Marble Falls, TX, Kimberly (Todd) Haas of DeWitt, NY, Carrie Roy (Tarn Young) of Eclectic, AL, 4 nieces, 5 nephews, 8 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
