Laura (DeFlumer) Palmer, 68, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2025 at her home.  Laura was born in Albany, NY.  She was one of seven children born to John & Edith DeFlumer. She has lived in Liverpool for over 40 years.  She left a lasting impact on the community with her work with the Girl Scouts, PTO, and the foster care system for the past 40 years.

She is predeceased by her parents John and Edith DeFlumer.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her long-time companion Robert Finch, her children; Nicole Palmer, Erin (Keith) LeBlanc, Matthew (Chandler) Palmer, Carolyn Doane, grandchildren; Brittany, Kevin, Brady, Julianna and six siblings.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088 followed by a funeral service at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
