Laureen "Lori" A. Jewell, 60, of Liverpool, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday at home. She was born in Syracuse, NY the daughter of the late Donald J. and Alice H. (Helin) Jewell. She grew up in Liverpool and graduated from Liverpool High School and excelled as a diver on the swim team. Lori worked for the Carrier Corporation as a customer service representative in their call center.

She liked scrapbooking and was an avid reader. Lori had a passion for photography and was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her cats. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Bonnie Chaffee.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her two brothers, Steven (Rebecca) L. Jewell of North Syracuse, NY and David C. Jewell of Mattydale, NY, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her two life-long friends, Mary Beth Richie and Anne Casalenuovo.

Graveside services will be held in Liverpool Village Cemetery at a future date.
