Lawrence "Larry" W.. Ziegler, Jr., passed away on May 15, 2025 after a short hospitalization.  Larry was born in Liverpool, NY on July 2, 1934 to Lawrence Ziegler, Sr. and Harriet (Harrington) Ziegler.  After graduating from Liverpool High School, he started work as a carpenter, building homes in and around the suburbs of Syracuse.  He was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving in Germany from 1954 - 1956.  Larry returned to Liverpool after his military service where he began his career of over 30 years as a union Pipe Insulator.

The job took Larry to Massena, NY where he lived for 33 years before returning to Central New York, first to Cross Lake and eventually back to Liverpool.  He enjoyed playing golf, watching his Red Sox, Bruins, and Steelers on TV and a good game of Pitch.

Larry was predeceased by his parents and his beloved wife of 59 years, Maureen (Wells) Ziegler.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori (John) Lacitignola, his son, Jeffrey (Kerry) Ziegler, as well as his grandchildren, Daniel (Kristina) Lacitignola, James Lacitignola, Emily Ziegler, Lindsay Ziegler, and Jordan Ziegler, his brother, Erwin (Fran) Ziegler and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Liverpool Village Cemetery.
