Leonard H. Richer, 96, of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024. He was born in Massena, NY. Len enjoyed his job of many years as Installer/Repairman for the New York Telephone Company, retiring after 37 years. Leonard proudly served in the United States Navy. He is a past member of the Moyers Corners Volunteer Fire Department. Len was also of great assistance to the Boy Scout Organization. Len was a craftsman. He built three homes for his family, from a small one bedroom when he was first married, to a beautiful home where his children were raised, his grandchildren have many warm memories, and is still considered to be "the family homestead". Len spent many hours on his woodworking, fashioning many pieces of furniture and toys for his family. He also took immense pride in his landscaping. His lawn and perfectly manicured bushes even caused passersby to stop and admire. He is predeceased by his brother, Arthur Richer and his sister, Rita Toles.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 71 years, Barbara (Casler) Richer, his four children; Leonard (Annette) Richer of Baldwinsville, NY, Gary Richer of North Bend, WA, Susan (James) McIntosh of Amherst, NH, Dennis (Annemarie) Richer of Elbert, CO, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
