Linda Lou DeLong, 75, of Liverpool, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday. She was born in Watertown, NY, daughter to the late Carlton and Florence (Scoville) Kendall. Linda was raised in Syracuse and graduated from Henninger High School, Class of 1969. On August 25, 1973 she was united in marriage to George H. DeLong, a blessed union of 35 years together. Linda came to Liverpool in 1994, where she had since resided. She was employed for St. Lucy's Academy as a secretary for many years until its closing. Linda will be remembered for her strong faith and zest for life. After being with Linda, you always left with a smile on your face, feeling better. As well as a survivor herself, Linda was an advocate for breast cancer research. She was an avid Farkle player and loved playing with her sisters. Linda loved dancing to any music and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Linda is predeceased by her husband, George H. Delong and her brother, Howard Kendall.

She is survived by her two daughters, Denise (Shawn) Barnes and Valerie DeLong, three grandchildren, Mark Barnes, Erika Barnes and Kendall DeLong, two sisters, Laura Wickline and Karen (Art) Papineau, her brother, Hollis "Butch" Kendall, several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt. 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with funeral services to follow at 4:00 pm.
