Lois J. Cox, 83, of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Sunday. Lois was born in Fulton, NY on April 7, 1931. She graduated from High School in 1949. She had a wonderful career as an executive secretary at General Electric for 35 years. She was an active member with the United Methodist Church. Lois loved to travel, she enjoyed camping and watching her grandchildren's concerts and family activities. Lois loved her neighbors and visiting on her back porch. Lois is predeceased by late husbands; Alvin E. Clark, and George F. Cox, sister Irene Holden, brother Elwin Cronk and daughter-in-law Colleen Tracy Clark. Lois is lovingly remembered by brother Richard Cronk (Marlene Cook) of Palermo, NY, and beloved friend Herbert Ward of Liverpool, NY, son Donald Clark of Orchard Park, NY, and daughters: Barbara (Jeff) McDowell of Bath, NY, and Karen (Juan) Montalvo of Upland, CA. Grandson's Benjamin and Tyler Clark; Nathan and Evan McDowell. Calling hours will be held at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St. Liverpool, NY on Friday, August 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service immediately following at 4 p.m. A reception for guests to follow at Christ Community UMC, 3474 Stiles Rd. Syracuse, NY. Burial will take place on Saturday, August 16th at 11:00 am at Mt. Adnah Cemetery in Fulton, NY.
