Louis Lamphear, 85 of Baldwinsville, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Louis enjoyed a 35 plus year career with The Prudential Company, where he rose to the position of Regional Manager and led sales efforts in several regions, including Dunkirk, NY, Fredonia, NY, Rochester, NY, and Corning, NY. His retirement "career" included 20 plus years with Product and Services Distribution Technologies in the Syracuse, NY, area where he worked closely with family and friends to guide success on numerous company projects.

A devoted family man, he cherished his wife, and generously shared many days proudly cheering on the efforts of his children and grandchildren. He was an avid sports enthusiast, and when he was not relentlessly chasing a golf ball through the rough, he enjoyed cheering for the sport teams representing Syracuse University, Texas A&M University, and the Buffalo Bills. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a generous man of strong personal faith and uncommon wisdom. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he will be greatly missed.

Louis is predeceased by his daughter, Melissa "Missy" M. Enedy Radell and his brother, Richard Lamphear.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Rosalie (Kozian) Lamphear sons; Louis (Deborah) Lamphear Sr. and Barry (Wendi) Lamphear, grandchildren; Joseph, Lindsey, Brendon, Louis Jr., Julie, Tabitha (Jason), and Danielle, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Funeral service will follow at 12:15 pm at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners.
