Lucinda J. Seketa, 71 of North Syracuse passed away suddenly on Wednesday. She was born and raised in Syracuse, NY, the middle child of six siblings. Cindi met and married Philip Braun of Canada and they had their son, Philip. Later in life she married Charles Seketa. Cindi worked as an accountant and retired from Sutton Real Estate Company in Syracuse. She was a member of the Salina Town Hall Seniors. She is predeceased by both of her husbands, three brothers and her sister. Cindi was one of the kindest humans a person could ever meet. Her home was always open to those in need, including foster children and foster kittens. She was a proud grandmother who had a fierce love for her family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Philip (Denise) F. Braun, grandson, Daniel Braun all of North Syracuse, half sister, Mary of Kirkville, NY as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. 300 Second St. Liverpool with funeral services to follow at 6:00 pm. Private burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
