Mary Colleen Gilchriest, 60, of Pennellville, NY, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. Colleen worked as a Registered Nurse and Case Manager at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. She was a graduate of West Genesee High School, St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, and later went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from American Sentinel College. She was an active parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Baldwinsville and served on the Human Development Committee of the church. She was a loving mother and her sons meant the world to her. She loved being with family and friends. All who knew her appreciated her friendly smile, the love, and the caring support that she expressed to everyone.

She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Jean Moynihan.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her beloved sons, Patrick, Kevin, Andrew, and Michael Gilchriest; her sister Kathleen (Brian) Foley, brother Daniel (Katherine) Moynihan; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Debbie, Kristin, Sean, and Stephen; and her beautiful Shih Tzu dog, Minnie, who gave her so much love.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
