Margaret E. (Cullen) Ludden, 76, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Loretto Cunningham Nursing Home in Syracuse. She was born in Los Angeles, CA, a daughter of the late John J. and Eleanore M. (Nemec) Cullen. Margaret was raised and educated in many different states and countries, and attended Marymount University, Virginia.  While residing in Hawaii and prior to coming to the Syracuse area, she met and married Lawrence R. Ludden, a blessed union of 19 years.

Margaret will be remembered for her loving and caring ways. She had a huge heart and was a friend to everyone. Margaret enjoyed playing tennis, writing poetry and crossword puzzles. Most importantly, her main focus was family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence R. Ludden in 1986.

Surviving are her children, Christopher A. (Tricia) Ludden and Carolyn E. Ludden both of Liverpool, NY, three grandchildren, Max, Chloe and Bailey, three sisters, Theresa Bjers of Williamsburg, VA, Patricia (Joseph) Pfanzelter of Surf City, NC, Christy Katzenbach (Thomas G. Burkhardt) of Fernandina Beach, Fl, three nieces and five nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with funeral services to follow at 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society of Central NY, 6725 Lyons Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
